For nearly two decades, Meichi Peng has been one of Boston's most sought-after interior designers and has become infamous for her combination of eclectic vision and modern sensibility. Meichi Peng Interior Design Studio designs residential and commercial spaces that fuse balance, form, and precise architectural perspective. Meichi's ability to combine palettes with furnishings that are functional reflect a refined contemporary sophistication. In 2023, the International Furnishings and Design Association New England Chapter awarded Meichi the Lifetime Achievement Award.

 

In 2009, Meichi also debuted Peng, a design store now called Peng Furnishings, a 1,400-square-foot home boutique in Boston's South End. "We like to go beyond what other people are doing," she says of the shop's museum-quality pieces from dealers around the globe. Furniture is displayed beside ancient artifacts and art fills the walls. "I feel quite at home here.
